DRC: How Joseph Kabila plans for the 2023 presidential election

Installed in the province of Haut-Katanga, Joseph Kabila has lived these last months between his different farms. First in the farm of Kashamata, where he already stayed for several months in 2021. Then in two large agricultural estates, located on the Kasumbalesa and Likasi roads, where he celebrated his birthday on 4 June 2022. And finally, in the Kundelungu park, which is similar to another of his properties, this time located in the N'sele valley, in Kinshasa. The former head of state is nonetheless keeping a close eye on the political, economic and security situation in the country.
